Lori Knowlton

Lori Knowlton joined Austin based HomeAway, Inc. in the 2007 and leads their global HR function.     

Prior to moving to Austin, Lori worked with Progress Software Company’s emerging technology groups and led the HR team in an aggressive M&A environment at Interliant, Inc. Far too many years ago, Lori started her career as a recruiter in Decision Architects, the custom software arm of The Monitor Group. Her experiences have provided her with a great appreciation for quality talent and nurturing unique company cultures.

With over 15 years of high speed technology sector human resources experience, Lori loves HomeAway for its people, complexity and pace.   

An avid traveler, Lori has enjoyed vacation rentals in Italy, Paris, Cap Ferret, Boston and uses them frequently to host family here in Austin.

Lori earned her degree in English literature from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and dreams of owning a vacation rental on the Maine coast.
