Kathy Phillips

Ms. Phillips joined the RFG, Inc. team a year ago as an account manager. She has more than 20 years experience in employee benefits. Her primary responsibility is the renewal and retention of her clients.

Prior to RFG, Ms. Phillips worked for nearly 14 years at Boon-Chapman Benefit Administrators, Inc. (B-C), Texas’ oldest domiciled Third Party Administrator. While at B-C she was Director of Marketing and was responsible for overseeing all Section 125, CDHP and fully-insured ancillary products, including marketing, underwriting, quoting, new business implementation and renewal activity. She served as Senior Underwriter for a proprietary fully-insured dental block consisting of over $20m in premium. Ms. Phillips also has extensive self-funded experience and her specialty was in Consumer Directed Health Plans.

Prior to B-C, Ms. Phillips worked for Principal Financial Group and New England Life Insurance Company.

She is active in Employee Benefits Institute of America and is currently pursuing her CEBS designation.
