As Managing Director for Sales and Business Development of RFG, Inc., Rob is responsible for overseeing sales leadership and advisory best practices for the firm. Additionally, Rob serves as President and founder of LeaderLabs, Inc., an RFG company, which is part think tank, part learning and training lab, dedicated to accelerating the success and impact of RFG’s Benefit Advisory partners around the country. Rob’s vision and commitment to creating success is based on the belief that the most innovative and powerful solutions can be found through the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders; advisors, clients, vendors, peers, and employees. Building on the philosophy that “No one knows everything; everyone knows something,” this network of firms and professionals are affiliated and committed to ‘the wisdom of the many’. As such, they have joined forces to develop a new paradigm for client value. RFG, and LeaderLabs, are committed to the premise that extraordinary results can be achieved when an organization successfully combines leadership, engagement, culture, and measurement.

Working within a wide range of industries, Rob spent the first half of his career focused on developing and implementing employee benefit strategies for mid to large sized companies with between 250 - 20,000 employees in all 50 states, as well as internationally. With over twenty years experience in the insurance industry, Rob has owned his own Advisory firm, worked for national benefit firms, served on advisory boards for national insurance entities, conducted numerous speaking engagements around the country, and been published in various newspapers and magazines. Additionally, Rob has been engaged to work with Advisory firms across the nation to improve client results and enhance cultural effectiveness.

Rob is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. As a cadet he earned his varsity letter in Water Polo, and won the Brigade Boxing championship at Light Heavyweight his senior year. After graduation, he served six years as an attack helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army aviation branch. Rising to the rank of Captain he received several awards for achievement, including a citation for meritorious service while on active duty.
